Job Offer

The last couple weeks have been very busy in the Garner household. I have the feeling that this is only the beginning. First off, Jeff accepted a job offer with Baker Atlas (part of Baker Hughes) as a field engineer. We are very excited for him and his job. The only thing is that we have to move........to Rock Springs, WY. Wyoming. WYOMING! So far what I have heard about this area is that it is cold, windy, dessert, cold and windy. I have also heard that Flaming Gorge is close by. It is suppose to be great for us outdoors people. We know that this is where we are suppose to be. I am really trying not to think about the idea of moving away from such wonderful family and friends. I am putting my focus on the present. We put up our house for sale this past week. We are looking at losing quite a bit of money with the way the housing market is right now. Hopefully, Jeff will be able to make up for it down the road. In the mean time, we have been packing and doing a lot of cleaning. Never knowing when someone is going to call to look at the house is hard. I will be picking up toys in one room while Joelle and Addie are pulling something out in the other room, then I go in there to clean....it is never ending :)

Well I hate to tell you that everyone is right about Rocks Springs! I grew up an hour from there in the Bridger Valley so if you have any questions let me know! Flaming Gorge is pretty nice for the summer time. We are trading you for Idaho, but also for a cold part...

Oh, I'm so glad you are posting again! We are going to miss you guys so much, but I know you and your family are headed down a road to success! It may be hard to move at first, but like everything else, you'll soon get used to it. I do know that we'll have to see you before you leave...hopefully. In case you check this today, I will not be coming with Lee tonight, as I will be getting ready for my sister's be-lated birthday party at our house later tonight. Lee will be bringing my cousin Nathan along, and I know he can do some good things for you guys. Take care!
