Happy Birthday

Joelle had her 3rd birthday Wednesday. I absolutely just loved her birthday as much as she did. The night before Jeff and I spent time decorating and making cookies and such. When she got up on her day she was so excited. She got to eat her "Man Cereal", which is a special birthday treat to be able to eat such sugary ceral. Oh, for those of you who haven't figured it out, the man is the handsome Captain Crunch. It was so fun to sing to her all day and see her smile. She would say "Mommy, I am happy!" and "I am excited!" with her cute giggle. That was before she knew she was getting presents. Which she certainly enjoyed. Today we threw a party with her close cousins and some friends. It was a bubble party, with lots of bubbles. At times like this, I really do enjoy being a mom. It is so much fun! You know, as one gets older, Birthdays and Christmas is not as exciting as you may remember it being. Just watching a child go through those special events/moments is like living through it again.
